the internet is as a tech friend of mine pointed out a very regulated and rigid place reguardless with very real consequences that the apparent freedoms of the www and its commons are little more than a delusion
Wow you’re totally right. This made me think t hat when you say something in real life, one or some people will hear you say it and that’s it. They could spread it around, yeah, but still, only a few people really know the truth behind that statement. On the internet, anyone can see what you have written, even people you don’t know. In that way, it’s a lot more public than speech out loud. So yeah. Good post!
chompie, your post was very good, an i felt you gave your opinions very honestly. I think you should be very careful with what you write in the internet, not just because it’s public, but the way you say things when you write it, can be often misunderstood.
I totally agree about what you think. I like what you said about if you are a blogger you are the press. I had never thought of it that way, it is very interesting.
Chompie-
I agree with you that it was a great idea to connect history class wit blogging. I thought you had a great point when you said that we have to be careful with what we write in the internet because it if very public. I hadn’t thought about blogging also having freedom of press.
Great Work!!!! =)
